To Gen III owners
I had my Monaro re tuned by Ace Tuning
in July and I have been ecstatic with the
great improvement in performance and
surprisingly better fuel economy. The other
week I was cruising back along the Hume and
I averaged 8.7 ltrs per 100KM for a full
tank. This included some city driving when I
got back to Melbourne.
The major difference has been the big
increase in pickup off the mark. I had
already upgraded the full Exhaust system and
done the standard air box and induction pipe
modifications. In the past I have found that
often when you fit a new exhaust or do small
changes you initially notice that change.
Within a few weeks you are use to the change
and don’t notice the performance improvement
any more (except the exhaust note). In this
instance it has been several months and I am
still wrapped with the pickup and
responsiveness of the engine. It was a well
worth while investment.
The guys at Ace Tuning were very
professional and treated my car as it was
their own. It is hard to give your pride and
joy to strangers who are going to play with
the inner workings of the car. I looked into
the guy’s and they are car enthusiast and
seemed to know exactly what to do and not do
when it comes to tuning a car.
